Terms of Use
- Sessivo helps your group organise games and split costs fairly. It's a tool, not a bank.
- We track who owes what — paying is between you and your teammates. We don't handle the money or guarantee the numbers.
- Be honest, be decent, don't upload anything that isn't yours or breaks the law.
- The service is provided free and "as is"; use it sensibly.
1Agreement
By creating an account or using Sessivo you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Sessivo.
2Eligibility
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement to hold an account. If your team includes players under 18, an adult must hold and manage the account on their behalf.
3Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in method (your phone or email) secure.
- You're responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
4Money, costs and settlements
Sessivo does not process, hold, transfer or guarantee any money. It records the costs your group enters and calculates suggested amounts and transfers to help you settle up. Actual payments are made directly between you and your teammates (for example by PayID or bank transfer), entirely outside Sessivo.
- You are solely responsible for making, receiving and confirming your own payments.
- Amounts, splits and balances are calculated from what your group enters. Check them before paying — we're not responsible for incorrect entries, disputes between members, or unpaid debts.
- Sessivo is not a bank, payment service, e-money or financial product, and does not provide financial advice.
5Acceptable use
When using Sessivo you agree not to:
- break any law, or use Sessivo to harass, defraud or harm others;
- upload content you don't have the right to use, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- post false, offensive or misleading information about other people;
- attempt to access data that isn't yours, probe or attack the service, or interfere with its security or operation;
- scrape, resell or commercially exploit the service without our permission.
6Your content
You keep ownership of the information you enter (team names, session details, notes, results and so on). You grant us a limited licence to store and display it as needed to operate Sessivo for you and your teammates. You're responsible for what you enter and confirm you have the right to enter it. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.
7Guests
If you add a guest, you confirm they're happy to take part and to have their name and share shown to the team for that session. You're responsible for collecting or paying a guest's share.
8Our intellectual property
Sessivo — including its name, logo, design, and software — belongs to us and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use Sessivo for organising your own social sport. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or rebrand the service. "Sessivo" is our trade mark. Other names (venues, sports, "PayID", etc.) belong to their respective owners and are referred to for description only.
9Intellectual-property complaints
We respect others' IP and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on Sessivo infringes your copyright, trade mark or other rights, email sessivoapp@gmail.com with: your details, a description of the content and where it is, the right you say is infringed, and a statement that your complaint is made in good faith. We'll review and, where appropriate, remove the content and may suspend the responsible account.
10Third-party services
Sessivo relies on third parties (such as Supabase, Twilio, Resend and Netlify) and may link to venue booking sites. We're not responsible for those services or sites; your use of them is subject to their own terms.
11Availability and changes
Sessivo is provided free and "as is". We may change, suspend or discontinue features (or the whole service) at any time, and we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We'll give reasonable notice of major changes where we can.
12Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law: Sessivo is provided without warranties; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost or incorrect data you entered, or for money owed, paid or unpaid between you and your teammates; and where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to re-supplying the service. Because Sessivo is free, you use it at your own risk.
13Suspension and termination
You can stop using Sessivo and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the service.
14Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that state.
